Printable Description |

This excursion will show you about 10 miles of the Island's coastline. Your captain will explain the history and geology of the Island. We will stop to take pictures and experience the Island's bald eagles. We may also encounter harbor seals, sea lions, red tail hawks, and other Catalina wildlife. We will visit Long Point, Italian Gardens, Goat Harbor, and Rippers Cove. |
After a break for soft drinks and to answer questions, we depart offshore two to three miles in search of dolphins on our run back to Avalon. When we find a pod of dolphin we will position the raft in the middle of the pod which allows you to get eye to eye with these beautiful marine mammals. It's a blast! This trip is for those people who do not want to snorkel but want to enjoy our Island's beautiful coastline and wildlife |
