In January, February and March the majestic gray whales migrate to Mexico and then back to Alaska . With all the whale watching boats crowding the whales on the mainland more and more whales are moving to the waters off the Catalina coastline. Here you have the opportunity to really enjoy these huge mammals in a natural setting in crystal clear waters. We will be offering two types of trips: TWO HOUR WHALE WATCHING TRIP: You should make reservations in advance and call us the day before departure and check the weather conditions. The trips will be canceled if it is raining or the sea conditions are too rough to make the trip comfortable. WHALE WATCHING PACKAGE Included in the package is your cross channel transportation, hotel room for a night, and the whale watching boat trip. Contact the Hotel Metrpole at www.hotelemetropole.com or 800-300-8528 for information and reservations Our whale watching trips offer something no mainland trip can, clear water so that you can see the whales underwater in an unspoiled environment . Also our trips are smaller and more personal than the cattle boat trips on the mainland. So come on out and have some fun in the off season, the natives are friendly and you will feel that you are a million miles from Los Angeles. |
