PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:
 Your package includes round trip cross channel transportation from Long Beach aboard Catalina Express. Upon Arrival in town it will be time to tour the City of Avalon on your own Segway. This tour offers a great way to see Avalon and your tour guide will talk to you about this quaint town and its history. Driving a Segway is easy and your guide will give you all the training and safety instruction you need. So, jump on and try something new!!
It’s time to check in for your 3 Hr. Island Adventure with Catalina Ocean Rafting. Your adventure will explore twenty miles, ten miles along our Island’s coastline and ten miles offshore is search of dolphins. Our Captain and/or Crew will explain the history, geology and plant life as we make our way down the coastline. Once out of Avalon, Catalina Island is a nature preserve, and it is beautiful, with its pristine beaches and beautiful coves. We may encounter Bald Eagles, Herron’s, Red Tail Hawks, Flying Fish, Sea Lions, and Harbor Seals along our route.
We will stop to snorkel at one of our best down island snorkel spots. Your crew will provide all the snorkeling equipment you will need to enjoy our undersea gardens. Beginners are welcome, if you know how to swim. After your snorkel, we serve complementary cheese, crackers, bottled water and sodas.
Hold onto your hat, as your ocean raft heads offshore in search of Dolphins, Whales, and other critters on our way back to Avalon

- 8:00 AM - Check in at Catalina Express, Downtown Long Beach Terminal (note 1)
- 8:30 AM – Depart for Catalina Island (note 1)
- 9:45 AM – Arrive Catalina Island (note 1)
- 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM – Open for breakfast/shopping
- 10:45 AM – Check in a Catalina Segway
- 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Segway Tour
- 12:30 PM – 2:15 PM – Open time for exploring/lunch
- 2:15 PM – Check in with Catalina Ocean Rafting
- 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM – 3 Hour Island Adventure (snacks served)

(note 1) This schedule is for Saturday & Sunday through 6/24/10, thereafter daily from 6/25/10 - 9/06/10. Weekday passengers must take the 6:15 AM boat (5:45 AM check in) until 6/24/10.
March 26 - April 15, Catalina Express departs at 8:00 AM on Saturday’s only rather than 8:30 AM (check in at 7:30 am).
(note 2) On Fridays until 5/28/10, your return boat will leave at 8:50 PM (check in at 8:20 PM) and arrives in Long Beach at 10:10 PM.
What to bring and wear:
Wear your bathing suit with a set of clothes over it; towel; sunscreen; soft soled shoes, sandals, or flip flops; sweatshirt or jacket, and spending money (gratuities for activity crews are not included in package).

 Your package includes round trip cross channel transportation from Long Beach aboard Catalina Express. Once on the Island, it’s time to check in with Catalina Jet Ski to board your Sea Doo wave runner for an hour of fun. This package is priced for two persons to ride on each wave runner. The crew at the wave runner float will show you how to operate it and explain all of the rules and safety features. Then, you’re off for an hour of serious fun!
