Package Description:
gray 5Your package includes round trip cross channel transportation from Long Beach aboard Catalina Express. Once on the Island, it's time to check in with Catalina Ocean Rafting for your two hour Whale Watching excursion. During January, February and March over 25,000 gray whales migrate from Alaska to the warm waters of Baja California to give birth to their young and to mate. Because of our power rafts, clear water, and small trip size you have an experience which has, in the past, only been available to the scientific community. Bring your camera and be ready to see whales, dolphins, Bald Eagles, seals and more. Wildlife sighting not guaranteed, but we try our hardest on every trip to find lots of wildlife to look at.

It's time to check in with Catalina Tours Bike Center to pick up your electric bike. If you have never ridden an electric bike, it is much easier than a regular bike because it has an electric motor that assists you, making both hills and level areas fun and easy to ride. You will have a one hour rental to explore Catalina on green power!! Catalina   140 pkg

Tours Bike Center will give you a map of the area, a helmet and a bottle of drinking water. All bikes are equipped with a basket for your gear.

Itinerary:

  • 9:30 AM - Check in at Catalina Express, Downtown Long Beach Terminal
  • 10:00 AM – Depart for Catalina Island
  • 11:15 AM – Arrive Catalina Island
  • 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM - Open time
  • 12:15 PM – Check in with Catalina Ocean Rafting
  • 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM - Whale Watching Excursion
  • 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Open time
  • 3:30 PM – Check in with Catalina Tours Bike Center
  • 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM – Explore Avalon on electric bike
  • 5:30 PM – Check in at Catalina Express
  • 6:00 PM – Depart from Avalon to Long Beach aboard Catalina Express
  • 7:15 PM – Arrive Long Beach
     

What to bring and wear:
Dress very warm for the Whale Watching excursion. Bring your cameras and sunscreen.

Adults (18+): $162.50
Seniors (55+): $156.00

Restrictions:
No one under age18 for electric bikes (age 16 if accompanied by a parent)
Not recommended for pregnant women or persons with back problems.
Minimum height is 5’
Maximum weight is 275 pounds
Must know how to ride a bike
