Ocean Rafting Whale Watch - Catalina Express - Package #120

Package Description:
Your package includes round trip cross channel transportation from Long Beach aboard Catalina Express. Once on the Island, you will check in with Catalina Ocean Rafting for your two hour Whale Watching excursion.  During January, February and March over 25,000 gray whales migrate from Alaska to the warm waters of Baja California to give birth to their young and to mate. Because of our power rafts, clear water, and small trip size you have an experience which has, in the past, only been available to the scientific community. Bring your camera and be ready to see whales, dolphins, Bald Eagles, seals and more. 

Wildlife sighting not guaranteed, but we try our hardest on every trip to find lots of wildlife to look at.

This package also includes Discount coupons valid at many of Avalon’s best restaurants, shops and boutiques

This package available on Saturday and Sunday only.

Itinerary:

• 9:30 AM - Check in at Catalina Express, Downtown Long Beach Terminal
• 10:00 AM – Depart for Catalina Island
• 11:15 AM – Arrive Catalina Island
• 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM – Open for lunch/ shopping
• 12:15 PM – Check in with Catalina Ocean Rafting
• 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM –Whale Watching Excursion
• 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Open for shopping/activities
• 5:30 PM – Check in at Catalina Express
• 6:00 PM – Depart from Avalon to Long Beach aboard Catalina Express
• 7:15 PM – Arrive Long Beach

What to bring and wear:
Dress very warm for the Whale Watching excursion.  Bring your cameras and sunscreen.
